Ex- student Dimitris Simou has a film in this years BAA competition – wish him luck!
Right after graduating in 2012 from the Westminster Animation course, Dimitar Petrov developed the first animated series based on folktales from the Balkans, the Golden Apple. We are so happy that he made it happen!
Here is an interview about his project.
He also recently talked about it on Ted Talk.
The talk is in Bulgarian… Must get subtitles!
Natasza Cetner is already celebrating festival success with her graduation film! “Nero” has been nominated for the film of the month at Puerto Madero International Film Festival 2017 – I am sure this is just the beginning.
Natasza Cetner, Cecilia Corzo and Maria Piva have all been offered places on the Animation MA at the Royal College of Art! You beat stiff competition for those places, and that’s not easy, but we know you all deserve the opportunity. Have fun – can’t wait to see what you do next!
Norbert Garab’s graduation film has been selected for screening on “Colorama – A Selection of Animation Shorts“. Sounds like a great evening! The event will be at Cafe 1001 (Brick Lane, London E1) on Wednesday, November 2nd from 7pm.
We loved your film Simona – glad you get to share it with the world!
After graduating Leopold went on to study on the Masters program in Film & TV production at the School of Cinematic Arts at University of Southern California. He now writes, directs, and produces live action and animation film:
