Welcome to the amazing world of animation; a remarkable art form where anything is possible, and the only limit is your imagination.
It is surprisingly easy to get started, so we have prepared this short booklet in the hope that you too will be bitten by the animation bug.
We have decided to start you off with traditional camera-based animation, because it is highly intuitive, and requires much less equipment to support larger class sizes. However, the skills learnt are transferrable, which means that computer animation becomes much less intimidating once these fundamental skills are understood and practiced.
This guide is aimed at tutors and teachers, and includes ideas for group and individual projects.
